Job Summary
Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and legal documents while conducting research on current laws and regulations. Compile supporting documents for family-based and humanitarian visas, draft accurate correspondence, and coordinate appointments with USCIS and other agencies. Maintain organized client files, monitor case deadlines, and communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates. Prepare clients for interviews and hearings, collaborating with the legal team to develop case strategies. Requires minimum two years of immigration paralegal experience, strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, and proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or in a related legal field
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, procedures, and forms
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (especially in Spanish) are a plus
