Job Summary
Prepare client registration statement updates, SEC filings, and distribute board materials including agendas and resolutions. Draft minutes for client board and committee meetings while maintaining contractual agreements and corporate governance documents. Manage regulatory calendars and filing processes, assisting in the development of legal administration procedures for board meetings and SEC filings. Contact clients regarding inquiries and resolution of issues, collaborating with internal teams on open workflows. Implements day-to-day legal administration services provided by Ultimus Fund Solutions.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- A paralegal certificate from an accredited school, college, or university
- 3+ years of paralegal or legal administration experience in a corporate or law firm environment
- 1-3 years of experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940
- Financial services industry
- Relevant statutes and rules relating to the core job functions
- Investment Company Act of 1940
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Acrobat
- Client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' basic legal needs and how they are related to the clients' business needs
- Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills
