Job Summary
Draft and review retail leases, purchase and sale agreements, and third-party documents including SNDA agreements and estoppel certificates. Support lease negotiations, amendments, and compliance research while managing litigation timelines, discovery, and document production. Coordinate legal project milestones, maintain project documentation, and facilitate communication between internal teams and outside counsel. Propose process improvements using legal technology platforms to optimize workflows in a high-volume real estate environment. Act as a liaison for management, business partners, and stakeholders to align legal guidance with operational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field, or paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience
- Employment law and litigation support experience
- Familiarity with real estate lease agreements
- Familiarity with compliance documentation
- Familiarity with discovery processes
- Familiarity with case management systems
- Basic understanding of or familiarity with corporate entities
- Familiarity with partnership terminology and structure
- Ability and willingness to work in-person in Dallas, TX or Irvine, CA
