Job Summary
Paralegal for the Housing Project supports attorneys with litigation assistance, including case investigation, public records research, filing pleadings, drafting documents, and document management; conducts intake, interviews clients, maintains case files, and collaborates with community organizations for tenant education and advocacy; hybrid policy allows some remote work with in-office or in-court work at least three times weekly in Baltimore; full-time, non-exempt, 40-hour workweek with a starting salary of $54,000 plus a language bonus in bilingual staff; requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and commitment to social justice; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or combination of Associate’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, and/or demonstrated skills in writing, research, analysis, and communications.
- Experience with law office/ litigation support and case management.
- Spanish/English bilingual (or proficiency) in writing and speaking is desired.
