Job Summary
Assist attorney(s) in complex state and federal insurance defense litigation cases from initial pleadings through trial, including drafting pleadings, scheduling orders, and motions. Responsibilities also include performing case assessments, drafting discovery requests, interpreting medical records, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. The position requires meeting a billing requirement of 140 hours per month and strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of complex insurance defense litigation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of legal language and principles
- Research methods knowledge
- Knowledge of court pleadings and processes
