Job Summary
Collaborate closely with attorneys to provide comprehensive legal advice on compliance, contractual, corporate, employment, and labor matters. Address medical malpractice, risk management, and patient care legal issues, including consent and termination of care. Conduct research and provide thorough analysis to support patient-related legal questions. The role reports to the Associate General Counsel with a training period on-site in Green Bay or La Crosse, WI, before shifting to a hybrid format requiring 1-2 days of on-site attendance weekly. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Paralegal or Bachelor of Science with major in paralegal studies
- 3-4 years minimum of related work experience
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of La Crosse or Green Bay, WI due to on-site needs
- Candidates must reside in WI, MN, IA, or MI at the time of hire
- Training period will be on-site in Green Bay or La Crosse, WI
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working on contractual, corporate, employment, health, medical malpractice, litigation, and other like matters for health care organizations in either Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Wisconsin
- Personal injury and real estate experience
