Job Summary
Compile and analyze immigration eligibility documents to assess potential benefits for PERM applications and H-1B and L-1 visa processing. Assist with the full PERM labor certification lifecycle, including drafting advertisements, wage requests, and tracking timelines. Communicate clearly on immigration benefits and government procedures based on attorney advice, while assisting multiple attorneys with tracking visa expiration dates and filing deadlines. Act as back-up for specific case projects during absences and travel as needed. Maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to support the firm's diverse Fortune 500 client base.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with solid academic credentials
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in high-volume US visa processing, including the PERM case lifecycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Must possess a desire to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
- Ability to anticipate needs of lawyers and paralegals
