Paralegal - General Liability - Insurance Defense

Job Summary
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, subpoenas, discovery demands, and correspondence while managing a high-volume caseload to support multiple attorneys. Organize and process incoming records and invoices, follow up on outstanding items via phone, email, and mail, and prepare answers for legal correspondence. Review documents for relevance and privilege prior to disclosure, conduct case law research using Lexis Advance and public access websites, and assist attorneys in preparing for mediation and trial. Retrieve and save documents within the firm's document management system. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience as a practice group paralegal, familiarity with state courts and e-filing, and proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, Aderant Total Office, and NetDocs. The role is designated as hybrid.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a practice group paralegal
- Familiarity with state courts, including e-filing procedures
- Experience in drafting legal documents and managing billing processes
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Word
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Lexis Advance for legal research
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Aderant Total Office (ATO) and NetDocs preferred
