Job Summary
Paralegal II focusing on finance-related cases or transactions, manage closing checklists, coordinate closings, prepare signature pages, and follow up on post-closing items, including preparation of related closing indices and binders. Assists attorneys and other paralegals with due diligence, retrieves data room documents, drafts forms and letters, and helps anticipate and address all aspects of a transaction with supervision. Also handles vendor requests for articles of incorporation and certificates of good standing, and utilizes MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook in daily work.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of four (4) years of law firm-related experience as a paralegal
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or signed declaration, if located in a California office
