Job Summary
Manage and lead supportive aspects of finance-related cases or transactions while maintaining closing checklists, coordinating closings, and preparing signature pages. Review and retrieve data room documents for due diligence, prepare electronic share folders, and order corporate and tax certificates from vendors. Draft legal and non-legal forms and letters, anticipating typical transaction work to ensure all aspects are addressed with supervisors. Resolve any issues arising during vendor coordination or document preparation. Located in New York or Los Angeles, this role requires four years of law firm experience and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication with clients, outside vendors, and other parties
- Exhibit proficient knowledge of internal software applications, such as word processing, internet searching skills, spreadsheets, and databases
- Possess knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- A minimum of four (4) years of law firm-related experience as a paralegal
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or signed declaration, if located in a California office
- This role will be located in either our New York or Los Angeles office
