Job Summary
Review, redline, and negotiate commercial agreements for outbound sales and inbound purchasing engagements while assisting teams in drafting ancillary operational documents. Serve as the primary contact for NDAs, amendments, and SOWs across functions like Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing. Summarize agreements for stakeholders, develop contracting standards and templates, and manage corporate records and entity maintenance. Collaborate with Contracts Management to organize contracts, support policy creation, and deliver basic legal training to business teams. Act as a liaison between attorneys and internal clients to perform assigned legal support functions and execute ad hoc projects. This role requires 5-10 years of commercial paralegal experience and is based in the Seattle office with an on-premise requirement of at least two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Advanced contract drafting, redlining, reading, and writing skills
- Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative and effective problem-solving skills
- Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments, operating with urgency
- Interest in corporate governance, immigration, and real estate matters
- Familiarity with indirect procurement and supply chain
- Skilled in developing scalable processes to optimize workflows
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years as a paralegal at a recognized law firm and/or an in-house legal department
- 5+ years of experience in commercial transactions
- Advanced proficiency with Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Prefer experience with consumer goods and/or retail companies
- The role is based in our Seattle office will be required to be on-premise at least 2 days per week
