Job Summary
The Paralegal - Commercial Contracts assists the legal team by drafting, reviewing, and managing a range of commercial agreements (NDAs, SaaS, vendor/supplier, customer contracts, purchase agreements, leases, service and licensing agreements, amendments). Responsibilities include creating first drafts from templates, identifying non-standard terms, reviewing against guidelines to flag risks, managing the contract lifecycle in a CLM system (e.g., LinkSquares) including intake, execution, and storage, coordinating internal approvals and e-signature, maintaining templates and clause libraries, and communicating with procurement, sales, finance, and operations to resolve issues. The role supports high-volume contract workflows, assists in reducing backlog, and aids due diligence, audits, and reporting with data extraction from CLM systems. Requires a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate and 3+ years of experience with commercial contracts; experience with SaaS agreements, purchase agreements, leases, CLM systems (LinkSquares preferred); and strong attention to detail and professionalism. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- 3+ years of experience supporting commercial contracts in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with SaaS agreements, purchase agreements, leases
- Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management systems (LinkSquares preferred)
- Strong familiarity with common commercial contract terms and structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
