Job Summary
Oversee litigation discovery processes, compile licensing applications, and monitor deadlines for compliance. Review and redline subcontractor and client contracts to support bid review teams while organizing and maintaining the contracts and licensing databases. Prepare correspondence, memos, and other confidential communications, and provide general administrative support including data entry and meeting coordination. Collaborate with project management, procurement, operations, HR, and finance teams to assist with large loss and erosion tracking. Maintain confidentiality and ensure high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced legal environment supporting Pike's legal, corporate, and licensing departments.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration
- Five years of prior work experience in a law firm or corporate law department
- Paralegal certification
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Power Point
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision
- Highly organized
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively
- Highly-driven and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry
- Experience with handling third-party auto and property claims
- Experience with workers' compensation claims
- Experience with insurance matters
- 2 or 4-year degree
- 5 years' experience with client and/or supplier/subcontractor contracts
- Proficient in contract standards and terminology
