Job Summary
Organize and manage electronic case files, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and evidence. Prepare and compile trial exhibits, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Review and categorize legal documents for easy access and reference. Assist in preparing case materials for trial, including summaries and document organization. Support intake processing and maintain accurate case records. Manage and organize email communications related to the case. Ensure all documents are properly formatted and stored within the firm's system. Coordinate with attorneys and internal staff to support case preparation needs. Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretion. Assist with additional legal administrative tasks as required. Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with direct experience in personal injury law firms. Strong understanding of litigation processes and trial preparation. High attention to detail, especially in document management and exhibit preparation. Proficiency with legal document management systems and standard office tools. Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 9AM - 6PM Eastern Standard Time Zone.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Direct experience in personal injury law firms
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and trial preparation
- Experience organizing large, complex case files and legal documentation
- High attention to detail, especially in document management and exhibit preparation
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency with legal document management systems and standard office tools
