Job Summary
Prepare and draft corporate reorganization, tax reorganization, and asset sale documents, including due diligence corporate checks. Participate in client and lawyer meetings to recommend action plans, review corporate bylaws for modifications, and draft complex capital structures. Coordinate closing documents, conduct name search reporting, and maintain the integrity of the national database. Mentor junior and intermediate legal assistants while ensuring timely, accurate work and proper timekeeping. Collaborate with lawyers across Canadian offices on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of experience in corporate law
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- College diploma in legal studies or equivalent
- Minimum of ten years of experience in corporate law
- NUANS certification completion certificate, when required
- Attention to detail
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines

- Good judgment and decision-making ability
- Team spirit and ability to interact with support staff and specialists at all levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
