PARAEDUCATOR - SPECIAL ED. HIGH SCHOOL

Tutor individuals or small groups of students with disabilities, reinforcing and implementing instruction as directed by the teacher. Monitor and report student progress, behavior, and performance according to approved procedures. Assist in administering and scoring diagnostic and other tests, while preparing, organizing, and distributing classroom materials and supplies. Transport students to and from activities, assist with physical tasks, and oversee students during labs, lunchroom, playground, and field trips. Maintain attendance and classroom records, operate instructional and office equipment, and contact parents regarding absences or home visits. Provide emotional support and general guidance to students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the day.
