Job Summary
Under supervision of a certified teacher, provides support to the operation of and instructional programs within the library/media center for elementary buildings. Duties include assisting teachers, students, and administrators in identifying resource materials; performing circulation activities; conducting classes and activities for students; maintaining databases and the full library/media collection of books, periodicals, hardware/software, media equipment, and related materials; supervising students in various settings; and training volunteers to support library functions. Strong emphasis on collaboration with teachers, maintaining accurate records, circulation control, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
