Job Summary
Educational Support Professional providing instructional support to students under the direction of a certified teacher; work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning; monitor, document progress and behavior; maintain classroom records; assist with assessments and attendance; perform clerical and organizational tasks such as data entry, filing, laminating, inventory management, and ordering supplies; supervise students across settings (classroom, playground, lunchroom, field trips); utilize standard office and classroom technology; collaborate with staff to support engagement, independence, and positive behavior; strong organization and communication skills; knowledge of instructional support practices, behavior supports, data collection, and classroom documentation; FLSA non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Title 1 Schools Only: Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate’s or higher degree; or demonstrated rigorous standard of quality through a formal state or local academic assessment (ex: ACT-Work Keys and ETS-ParaPro)
