Job Summary
Support students in REACH and Evolution Programs through one-on-one, small group, and whole group engagement opportunities to maximize safety and learning goals. Manage equipment and assist with transferring, lifting, or shifting students as needed. Navigate conflict within a collaborative team while providing clear, direct feedback to teachers and clinicians. This school-year, 185-day position includes a 7-hour reporting day with competitive hourly pay ranging from $22.76 to $37.04. Additional compensation is available for summer school services.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in schools, nonprofits, human service organizations
- Flexibility, responsibility, and follow through
- Teamwork skills - including navigating conflict
- Ability to seek and provide clear and direct feedback
- Ability to thrive within a team while also being able to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to transport students in AVC vehicles/vans
- Physical ability to execute job responsibilities that include transferring, lifting, or shifting students or equipment, and managing equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual is a plus
