Job Summary
Paraeducator: assists certificated teachers in instruction for individuals or small groups, monitors and reports student progress, and participates as part of an instructional team. Requires at least 48 college hours or Paraeducator Exam; duties include tutoring, preparing/organizing lessons, administering tests, maintaining records, interacting with parents, and supporting health and safety. 7 hours per day, 180 days per year. Location: Richmond, KY.
Required Qualifications
- At least 48 college credit hours OR proof of taking and passing the Paraeducator Exam
- High school diploma or GED as required by Kentucky law
- Some experience in working with children in an organized setting
