Paraeducator 1 SPED (Palmer HS)

Paraeducator I: Special Education support at Palmer High School. Under the direction of a certified teacher, provide instructional and behavioral support to students individually and in small groups, reinforce learning and develop academic, communication, and functional skills, implement accommodations/modifications aligned with IEPs, monitor and document progress (including Medicaid documentation), assist with classroom operations and clerical tasks, support transitions and daily routines, and help maintain a positive, structured learning environment across multiple settings. Strong collaboration with teachers, knowledge of IEPs and behavior supports, and the ability to work with diverse learners are essential.
