Job Summary
Remove and transit incoming monetary items from the gaming floor into the Vault, then sort and count all received items. Verify, balance, and record transactions from cash storage and bill validation boxes while examining bills for counterfeits, mutilation, or wear. Bundle and band monetary items, verify totals and denominations, and transfer funds to the main vault upon completion. Maintain security of keys, pull carts, cash boxes, and gaming machines by removing and replacing secured cash boxes in labeled machines and carts. Prepare gaming floor areas by moving and replacing chairs, ensuring all machines and carts are locked properly. Complete tally sheets with accurate counts, signatures, and dates, and report deviations in the automatic accounting system. Greet guests and assist with questions regarding promotions and casino locations while maintaining coverage standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks

- Obtain and maintain a gaming license to work in a casino from the Otoe-Missouria Gaming Commission
- Valid Driver's License (pertains to certain locations only)
