Job Summary

Assist teachers with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in the Individual Success Program who require intensive behavioral, mental health, and life skills support. Provide additional support and coverage in all ISP classrooms, typically one classroom per day, performing individual instruction, small group activities, and room supervision under the direction of classroom teachers and administrators. Hired persons will be trained in behavioral techniques and instructional strategies including Handle with Care. This ITINERANT position is available for the 2026-2027 school year with a schedule of 6.75 hours per day and 183 days. Sites include Cavett and Robinson Elementary, Lux and Moore Middle, East High, and Yankee Hill Education Center. The role is subject to veterans preference.
