Para Professional - Rosebud

Paraprofessional assists the teacher in helping students achieve learning objectives, supervises students outside of the classroom and provides administrative support for teaching. Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning materials or skills, assists the teacher in devising strategies based on individual needs, helps students master classroom materials, reads to students, assists with attendance and clerical duties, and substitutes for the classroom teacher when needed. Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards, and participates in family nights and school activities as assigned. Strong emphasis on supporting student learning, classroom organization, and collaboration with teachers and administrators.
