Para - Paraprofessional (Berkowitz) (SY26-27)

Assist, support, and work closely with teachers and administrators in providing educational support for Special Education classrooms. Reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced by licensed staff with individual students or small groups. Assist teachers in special strategies for reinforcing learning based on an understanding of individual student needs, interests, and abilities. Monitor work, supervise curriculum-based testing and makeup work, and assist in classroom and instructional duties as assigned. Demonstrate ethical behavior and maintain confidentiality regarding student information while ensuring a safe working environment. Requires minimum of 48 college credits or ParaPro Test, with preferred experience working with students with disabilities and bilingual Spanish skills.
