Job Summary
Provide equipment support for Para Nordic programs and athletes; lead equipment planning and procurement; manage equipment inventory (ski wax, waxing supplies, sit skis, race gear) and coordinate on-site support at international competitions and domestic camps; perform wax services to ensure fastest skis; oversee contracted technician support; collaborate with staff to advance Nordic sit ski equipment for National Team athletes; contribute to high-performance plan and knowledge sharing on equipment research and procedures; maintain relationships with USSS/US Biathlon and other Nordic programs; assist in coaching duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Nordic wax technician
- Experience managing an inventory of equipment for a sports team
- Professional experience with Paralympic programs
- Biathlon equipment & coaching experience and/or willingness to learn
- Experience in Nordic coaching
- Experience with industry-standard tools specific to elite Nordic skiing
- USSS Level 100 coach and/or U.S. Biathlon Level 1 preferred
