Job Summary
Para II - Job Coach assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students with special needs in school and/or community environments; supports students in employing employability skills at different job sites; implements plans for instruction and behavioral plans under the IEP; monitors student behavior; collaborates with staff; maintains instructional materials and data sheets; provides information to appropriate school personnel; performs classroom clerical tasks and supports social growth through relationship building, field trips, and social skills development. Requires High School diploma or GED (with Title I credit requirement if applicable), ability to obtain 48 college credits or pass Title I assessment, and background clearance with TB test. Prepared to assist with lifting and handling of students/equipment as part of daily duties; CPR/education strategies training may be involved. Location: Olathe, KS, United States; full-time, in-person role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 48 hours of college credit or ability to pass Title I assessment test
- Background Clearance
- TB Test
- CPR training (desirable)
