Job Summary
Assist the teacher with transporting students on and off buses, managing personal hygiene needs, and positioning students in wheelchairs or medical equipment as trained. Prepare meals, feed students, and implement instructional activities like reading aloud or small group lessons under direction. Provide first aid, manage medical procedures such as tube feeding, and supervise student behavior using positive interventions across the campus and off-site. Report student information to teachers, participate in parent conferences, and perform light custodial duties to maintain safety and hygiene. Adhere to the daily schedule, maintain predictable attendance, and engage in professional development activities.
