Paper Set-up Operator

Perform daily machine maintenance, changeovers, and set-ups while operating all machines within the Folding Department. Inspect products, make mechanical adjustments, and troubleshoot minor operating difficulties using hand tools. Execute repairs, examine work orders for specifications, and verify order accuracy including labeling, printing, and packaging. Maintain precise counts for boxing and palletizing, pack envelopes into containers, and place paper stacks and rolls into machine feeds. Complete paperwork for labor and quality tracking, perform machine wash-ups, and ensure a tidy workspace. Requires standing for the full shift, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and strong mechanical aptitude. Training spans 6–9 months on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift.
