Job Summary
Supervise the commissioning, trial runs, and operationalization of the state-of-the-art specialty paper manufacturing machine while ensuring process stability, desired product quality, and production output. Establish standard operating procedures for machine operation, maintenance, and safety, and deliver the design within specified productivity and quality targets. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and R&D teams to develop new products at optimum manufacturing costs, driving continuous improvement in productivity and reduction in manufacturing expenses. Lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure the project is erected on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of OGR, Glassine, Flexible paper base manufacturing
- Strong understanding of material and energy balance, machine design, and critical components
- Familiarity with agro based pulps, refining processes, and barrier property optimization
- Proven track record of successfully commissioning and stabilization of paper machine, preferably in the specialty segment
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively
Desired Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Pulp & Paper Technology / Chemical Engineering
- Experience in commissioning food-grade or greaseproof/specialty paper lines
