Job Summary
Pantry Assistant at Center of Hope provides front-desk support by greeting clients, answering the phone, and scheduling pantry appointments. Responsibilities include packing pantry orders, assisting with program donation processing, pickups and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and COA/state requirements. Requires professional telephone skills, reading/writing proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and an outgoing personality; valid Ohio driver’s license and ability to meet driving-insurability and background-check requirements.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills (in person and on telephone)
- Outgoing personality with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability
- Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation)
- Minimum Educational/LICENSURE Requirements: High School diploma or GED preferred
