Job Summary
Square, align, and assemble enclosures, back plates, and components while laying out diagrams for electrical installations per wiring specifications. Drill, tap, and wire assemblies according to blueprints, then attach breakers, relays, contacts, bus bars, transformers, insulators, meters, plugging devices, and fuse blocks using bolts and screws. Cut, strip, bend, and form wire, cable, conduit, and tubing; solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends. Adjust electrical assemblies and discuss diagram errors or production order issues with supervisors or engineers to clarify assembly problems. May act as Team Lead disseminating jobs and approving timecards. Requires valid forklift certification, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent crouching or kneeling.
