Job Summary
Senior medical education SME to conduct advanced review of escalated medical education content, ensure alignment with USMLE/COMLEX standards, and provide authoritative guidance on complex evaluations. Responsibilities include assessing content across basic science disciplines, ensuring accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness, and delivering asynchronous reviews within 5 days to 2 weeks. Time commitment ranges from 3-18 hours per week during active review periods, with quarterly cycles and potential ad-hoc assessments. Compensation is $125/hour; work arrangement is remote within US time zones, contracted through a third-party agency. Required qualifications include an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and a minimum of 5 years of active medical education experience. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in content review, curriculum development, assessment design, and familiarity with medical board exam preparation or question writing.
