Job Summary
Operate cranes, hoists, tables, forklifts, and other shop-floor equipment safely; read and interpret blueprints and routings; record information on required forms; use measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and ensure equipment is calibrated; perform QA inspections and coordinate with supervisor/maintenance to keep machines running; perform housekeeping and other related duties; operate lathe and company computer systems; manage safety procedures and training; endure a fast-paced work environment and adhere to policies; physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting of heavy items; location: Angola, IN, US.
Required Qualifications
- Possess good communication and reasoning skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions whether written or oral
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations
- Understand and support Company policies and procedures
- Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job
- Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting of heavy items on a regular basis
