Job Summary
Fabricate SIPs using hand tools while operating Hi-lo and overhead cranes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies to limit lost time and reduce lead time from order to delivery. Solve problems in tough situations and perform other duties as assigned. Requires ability to lift 75 lbs, read blueprints and measurement tools, and stand, reach, bend, and walk frequently. Shift runs 9PM to 7:30AM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic construction skills
- Able to read blue prints
- Able to read measurement tools
- Wood working/carpentry experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to lift 75 lbs.
- Skilled in using power and hand tools
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to stand, reach outward and above, bending frequently and walking
- Reliable attendance
- Effective communication with fellow team members
- Ability to adhere to and maintain quality standards
- Timeliness of work completion
- Compliance and execution with company policies
- Adhere to and enforce all safety policies as determined by Porter Corp
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
