Job Summary
Receive shipments and inventory parts, read panel diagrams, and assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of control panels to meet client project requirements. Ensure wiring and assembly follow approved drawings with minimal errors, verify all shipments are packed to avoid damage, and schedule pickups and deliveries to meet deadlines. Participate in quality checks for fabrication issues while maintaining NFPA 70 and UL508a compliance. This role supports automation and process safety engineering challenges at our UL-certified shop in Greenville, contributing to client success and a safer work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of practical experience in essential job functions
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- formal training in Electrical/Electronic technology
- Track record of understanding and practicing NFPA 70 and UL508a requirements
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
