Panel Assembler (2nd Shift) assembles relay and control panels from blueprints and drawings, uses power and hand tools, conducts quality assurance checks to ensure specifications are met, identifies defects, and maintains workspace safety and inventory in Fontana, CA. The role supports production needs for fabricated metal parts in relay and control panel assemblies, adhering to safety and quality standards and following procedures and work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of related experience in assembly or manufacturing setting
- Prior experience operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.)
- Reading comprehension and ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
- Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
- Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds
- Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
