Job Summary
Design and deliver optimal large-scale app and infrastructure cloud solutions by architecting zero-trust controls using Palo Alto technology. Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto VM-series firewalls in AWS and Azure environments while managing Panorama, tuning security policies, and analyzing logs. Configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM alongside threat prevention tuning and log analysis. Collaborate with Product Owners, Applications Owners, and Network teams to optimize cloud architecture. Requires NC, GA, or SC residency with relocation to SC, 10+ years of Palo Alto experience, and relevant certifications. This role supports the company's cloud security infrastructure without developer responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- W-2 ONLY, no subs no sponsorship
- Candidate MUST be a NC, GA, SC resident and willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense
- College Degree or 10+ years of experience as a Palo Alto Cloud Engineer
- Holds one of the following certifications: Palo Alto, AWS, or Azure certification
- 10 years' experience in network security and engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, scaling, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto VM-series firewalls in both AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Experience with panorama management, security policy design, threat prevention tuning, and log analysis
- Must demonstrate ability to architect zero-trust controls using Palo Alto technology
- 5 years' experience in deploying, configuring and maintaining BIG-IP F5 LTM
