Palliative Care Volunteer Visitor – Upper North Shore Sydney

Provide friendly companionship and social support to adults receiving palliative care in their own homes by engaging in meaningful conversation, sharing stories, listening to music, or playing board games. Establish a regular and reliable presence to reduce social isolation and bring comfort, connection, and joy to someone's day. Visits are arranged based on availability and shared interests, typically lasting 1 to 2 hours between 10:00am and 4:00pm on weekdays or weekends. Full training and ongoing support from a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator are provided, with a National Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare.
