Job Summary
Direct product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations while maintaining adequate supply of empty pallets for utilization. Coordinate changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers, ensuring line clearance during transitions to new work orders. Perform mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on all palletizers, stretch wrappers, pallet labeling systems, and associated equipment. Inspect pallets against quality standards and document results. Assist the Warehouse Coordinator in scheduling functions and support the training and certification program as needed. Work F Shift Thursday through Saturday nights in a non-climate controlled environment at the York, PA facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in distribution operations, including equipment, materials, workflow, WMS and forklift operations in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Must have ability to communicate clearly in English – verbal and written
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Must be available for F Shift Thursday – Friday 09:30pm – 06:00am Saturday Sunday 05:30pm – 05:30am
- All candidates will be required to abide to all PPE standards and department dress code
- Candidates will be exposed to the seasonal temperature variations
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience working on a standup forklift
- Mechanical and technical ability, ability to troubleshoot, perform PM's, etc
