Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and adjust palletizing equipment, wrappers, and conveyor systems while performing start-up and shut-down procedures. Troubleshoot mechanical operations, check for damaged cases, and ensure proper feed rates for maximum efficiency. Coordinate with warehouse and lab teams to order materials, supply slip sheets and stretch-warp film, and manage rework of bad cases. Complete all required paperwork for accurate documentation of processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Lock-out/Tag-out certification
- Forklift certification
- Ability to multi-task multiple assignments and duties
- Ability to navigate and operate HMIs and other technology
- Ability to operate 2-way radio
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements
- Ability to work with hands and arms overhead
- Ability to work in or under the equipment
- Manual dexterity
- Overall coordination
- Good balance
- Ability to operate work related equipment
