Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and adjust palletizing equipment in line with production needs and quality standards. Perform start-up and shut-down of palletizers, wrappers, and conveyor systems while troubleshooting mechanical operations and removing damaged cases. Monitor line flow rates by checking case feed and pallet supply for maximum efficiency, coordinate with warehouse teams for material ordering, and adjust stack patterns as required. Check cases for quality standards, supply slip sheets and stretch-warp film, and rework bad cases. Complete all required paperwork for accurate documentation of processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Lock-out/Tag-out certification
- Forklift certification
- Ability to multi-task multiple assignments and duties
- Ability to navigate and operate HMIs and other technology
- Ability to operate 2-way radio
- Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements
- Ability to work with hands and arms overhead
- Ability to work in or under the equipment
- Manual dexterity
