Job Summary
Program and operate log bundler, palletizer, log crane, and stacker to deliver good signatures stacked or logged in accordance with Finishing guidelines to the staging area. Perform work productively and safely while lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs frequently. Work Wednesday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with mandatory overtime as needed. This role supports Sheridan's status as a leading print and publishing service provider, offering on-the-job training through the Sheridan Academy and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Availability for mandatory overtime as needed
- Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week
