Job Summary
Program and operate log bundler, palletizer, log crane, and stacker to deliver signatures stacked or logged per Finishing guidelines to the staging area. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently while performing frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching overhead. Wear hearing, eye, and safety protection as required. Schedule is 2 days on / 2 days off from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (36 hours/week) with mandatory overtime available. Day shift includes a shift differential; overtime pays time and a half after 36 hours. Eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Mandatory overtime as needed
