Job Summary
Program and operate log bundler, palletizer, log crane, and stacker to deliver good signatures stacked or logged in accordance with Finishing guidelines to the staging area. Perform work productively and safely while lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs frequently. Maintain good visual acuity and manual dexterity, wearing hearing, eye, and safety protection as required. Work a 2 days on/2 days off schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours weekly, with mandatory overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance
- Ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Ability to work frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, sit, crouch, and crawl occasionally
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Schedule of 2 days on / 2 days off, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM – 36 hours/week
