Palletizer Operator - Day Shift

Job Summary

Operate palletizing machines to produce properly stacked, stretch-wrapped pallets ready for warehouse storage. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, including shuttles, wrappers, and photo eyes, and coordinate material handling with forklift drivers to maintain line efficiency. Verify code dates, bag sizes, and G-Code quantities during changeovers while ensuring all finished pallets meet QA standards and BEST quality practices. Cover the manifest station and assist with LP processes to ensure accuracy. Participate in team meetings and foster cohesiveness regarding operational policies and improvement ideas. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 55 lbs in hot or cold climates while wearing steel-toed shoes, ear plugs, and a hair net.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Background in manufacturing
  • Experienced within a manufacturing/process environment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Experience running large machines
  • Fast paced production experience

  • Ability to inform maintenance of repairs
  • Ability to select appropriate palletizing pattern
  • Ability to verify ACCURACY of LP's applied to pallets
