Prepare distribution of finished bakery products by removing cases from slide conveyors, stacking them onto pallets, and securing loads with shrink wrap. Enter cases into inventory by printing and affixing Handling Unit labels, verifying carton weight by feel, and checking bar codes and lot numbers against process orders. Monitor transfer conveyors for jams, remove damaged cases, and ensure proper tape sealing on all flaps. Sweep and wipe equipment to maintain sanitation and GMP compliance, while reporting unsafe conditions, quality discrepancies, and equipment problems immediately to the foreman. Move empty pallets with a pallet jack and direct packaging helpers as needed. Work the 3rd shift, including overtime and weekends, with a required forklift certification.
