Job Summary
Pallet Wrapper (SBO) wraps finished product pallets within the assigned module, operates an Electric Pallet Jack, verifies correct pallet stacking, centering, and labeling (yellow/green per production order), documents pallet weight and order number, transports wrapped pallets to the finished product area, and maintains a clean, safe workspace. Requires knowledge of PPE and safety regulations, ability to perform basic maintenance on the pallet jack battery, and team collaboration to assist with scrap. Do not use the Electric Pallet Jack on Saturdays as it must remain charged. Reports to Lead Operator and Conversion Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the industry or a similar role
- Obtain a license for the use and operation of the Electric Pallet Jack through a safety training course
- ability to operate Electric Pallet Jack
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage
- Experience documenting pallet weights and order numbers
- Experience in a steel/warehouse setting with pallet wrapping and labeling
