Job Summary
Collect and remove pallets, cardboard, and plastic wrap from inside and outside the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment. Safely operate pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility, loading all pallets into designated trailers for disposal or recycling. Operate and monitor cardboard and plastic compactors, emptying them when full according to safety procedures, then stage and load full pallets of compacted materials into trailers for removal. Work independently at a fast pace while communicating effectively with supervisors and coworkers, accepting direction and contributing to the overall team effort. Perform tasks in varying warehouse environments, including exposure to noise, heat, and cold, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
