Job Summary
Inspect pallets for damage, wear, and structural issues; determine appropriate repair levels and execute precise fixes using hand and power tools to replace or reinforce boards. Conduct final evaluations to ensure completed pallets meet quality standards, while operating and maintaining repair equipment daily. Maintain a clean workstation, follow safety protocols, and escalate technical or process issues to leadership promptly. Partner with facility staff to support smooth operations and meet daily production targets. Work in a warehouse environment involving prolonged standing, repetitive lifting over 75 lbs, and exposure to dust and fluctuating temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work safely with high-powered saws and tools in a fast-paced assembly-line environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect defects or material inconsistencies
- Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday
- Repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling 75 lbs or more
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a high-energy production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pallet repair, woodworking, carpentry, or construction
- Knowledge of operating various saws—usage, safety, and basic maintenance
